Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is a 2005 fantasy-adventure novel for kids, based on Greek myths. It's the first book in the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series and was named one of the best children's books of the year.
I received this project early in my time at Montserrat. Our task was to redesign a classic book cover while keeping its original spirit. I chose to focus on the intriguing world of Percy Jackson. I illustrated every visual part of the cover, except for the text, to show my creativity and artistic abilities.
